Wear to Work

Tee shirts in various colors are an essential part of my wardrobe. I love to dress up basics and the simplicity of dressing up or dressing down a simple Tee is too easy. Today I wore a purple Tee underneath a springy green cardigan, and denim trousers. I literally have this same scoop neck Tee in 8 different colors from JC Penny's. Wear to Work

Ideally, this is what I'm wearing to work today. I didn't like how my self photo turned out this morning, so I recreated it all for you here. I'm a big believer in dressing up a simple base (blue shirt and grey pants) with fun distracting accessories. The red purse makes this outfit pop. I also have on a white beaded necklace.

Spring is Here!

Today is the first day of Spring, I've been on the countdown since 2 weeks ago and I'm so excited for some reason! Flowers are blooming, Spring showers are falling, the sun is shining, and pollen is all over the place and my allergies are already acting up! Oh yes, the joys of Spring, lol! We've been blessed here with a mild Winter and it's actually been warm enough to wear a sundress a few times in "Winter." I love long flowing sundresses. Tomato Alfredo Pasta

Another simple pasta dish for you guys. I had a couple of tomatoes and some Alfredo sauce and wondered if they would taste good together. Guess what, they do! So I used some angel hair pasta, which I always seem to have on hand, and some dried basil and fresh garlic. Here's how to put it all together:
