ABOUT

FOOD

My Mom always taught me to cook with your nose.  If two spices smell like they go together, then they probably do.  Cooking comes second nature to me, so I don't have to try very hard to cook something great; it just comes out that way.  I don't really take the time to keep up with the latest cooking innovations.  When I see a dish I like on TV, in a magazine, or on social media, I try to stick to the recipe, but I end up making it my own.  That's why I love cooking; I'ts so versatile.   Cook from your heart and you'll never go wrong.

FASHION

Being stylish also comes second nature to me.  I don't try too hard to look good.  I don't keep up with the latest trends primarily because I don't like wearing clothes that are "out of style".  That's also why I love vintage.  Thrift is another word for treasure, trust me!  Many of the items in my closet are classic interchangeable pieces that look great together with other pieces.   Adding that with the right accessories renders me with countless fashion options everyday.  I love to look great and I like to know that others think I look fabulous when my outfits are effortless!

I consider my style to be Classically Sophisticated.  I love to take everyday classic pieces and edge it up with something elegant and complex.  Above all else, I've got to be comfortable.  To look good on the outside, you've got to feel good on the inside.  Comfort is the bridge to confidence.  You must be confident with yourself and with who you are, otherwise you will have a hard time feeling comfortable in anything you wear.

The most important word in fashion is accessories!  Turn simple into sophisticated by pairing jeans and a white Tee with a statement necklace, an over sized handbag, arm candy, a swaggalicous pair of shades, and stunning wedges.  Fashion is what you make it!
